An Interview with the Star of Jersey Boys

Ben Joyce is a British actor who has starred in a number of stage and screen productions, including the West End revival of Jersey Boys. In this interview, Joyce talks about his experience playing the role of Frankie Valli, his thoughts on the show, and his future plans.

On Playing Frankie Valli

"Playing Frankie Valli was a dream come true," says Joyce. "He's such an iconic character, and I was so honored to be able to bring him to life on stage." Joyce notes that Valli was a very complex character, and that he had to do a lot of research to prepare for the role. "I watched hours of footage of him, and I read everything I could find about his life and career," he says. "I also worked closely with the show's director, Des McAnuff, to develop my performance."

On Jersey Boys

"Jersey Boys is a great show," says Joyce. "It's got everything you could want in a musical: great music, a compelling story, and fantastic characters." Joyce says that he particularly enjoys the show's music. "The Four Seasons' songs are some of the most iconic in pop history," he says. "They're so well-written and so catchy."

On His Future Plans

"I'm not sure what the future holds," says Joyce. "But I'm hoping to continue acting in both theater and film. I also have a few projects in development that I'm excited about." Joyce is a talented actor with a bright future ahead of him. He is sure to continue to entertain audiences for years to come.
